Ashlyn Hayter brings a curious mind and a love of problem-solving to the Clutch Legal team. Currently studying a Bachelor of Laws, she joined Clutch Legal after spending just under two years as a Legal Receptionist at a criminal law firm.
As a Law Clerk, Ashlyn enjoys getting stuck into a problem, working out the details and looking at things from different angles to find a solution. She works closely with the team to support the lawyers and help keep matters organised, while making sure clients feel heard and their questions get to the right people. She’s always keen to learn from those around her and isn’t afraid to ask questions along the way.
Outside of work, Ashlyn enjoys long-distance running, getting lost in a good book and catching up with friends over coffee. Her ideal weekend starts with a sunrise or an early morning run, followed by toasted banana bread and a coffee. She also has a competitive streak that’s best discovered at your own risk. Let’s just say a card game has previously ended with a flipped camping table and a few hours of silent treatment.
One thing Ashlyn won’t compromise on is wearing socks. Rain, hail or Sunshine Coast summer, you won’t catch her walking around barefoot.
Ashlyn brings plenty of curiosity, a willingness to learn and a down-to-earth approach to her work at Clutch Legal.
